Is this an event for all ages?
Yes! Family Circle Magazine named WFHHFD as the Top Family-Friendly Festival in South Carolina and among the Top 50 Family-Friendly Festivals in the country! “Earn major cool-parent points at this kickin’ (and alcohol-free) party celebrating the positive impact of hip-hop and rap culture.” — Family Circle

How much does it cost?
Admission is free! VIP tickets are available.

When does the event start?

The festival begins at noon and ends at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 11. There are also events on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday leading up to the festival.

What about parking?
There are several City of Columbia parking garages within walking distance from the festival.

Will there be security?
Security on-site during the festival will include the Columbia Police Department (CPD), the Columbia Fire Department (CFD) and emergency medical services (EMS).

What if it rains?
This is a rain or shine event. Umbrellas and ponchos are welcome.

Is there anywhere to sit down?
You are welcome to bring portable chairs as long as they don’t block the sidewalks.

Can I bring my dog?
Please leave your pets at home for the safety and comfort of other guests. Only trained service dogs will be allowed into the festival.

What accommodations are made for people with disabilities?
There is accessible parking on the streets surrounding the festival and throughout the City of Columbia parking garages nearby. The entire area is paved and all sidewalks are ADA compliant, per the City of Columbia. Service dogs will be allowed into the event for assistance.

What are the bathroom facilities?
There will be porta-potties available, along with restrooms and porta-potties for disabled individuals.

Can I get a backstage pass?
There are no backstage passes available. But a VIP ticket will get you the closest!

Are cameras allowed at the event?
Yes! Please share your photos with us. You can tag us, tweet us, and give us a shoutout on Instagram. Our handle is @lovepeacehiphopsc, and we use the hashtag #LPHH2020.

Can I leave the event and return later?
Yes.
